Asia Pacific Account Manager (WW-38)

We are looking for a hands-on account manager with approximately five years of OEM software sales, licensing, marketing and programs experience. Candidates must have either a technical background or strong software aptitude, outstanding interpersonal, writing and presentation skills and a winning track record developing, managing, negotiating and closing business with major accounts and strategic partners in various technical arenas (operating systems, object-oriented technology, messaging and networking software, GUI applications, and hardware/software system integration issues). Ideally your experience has recently included developing business with consumer electronics OEMs (PCs, laptops, personal organizers) or communication service providers (AT&T, NT&T, MCI, Sprint , Europeon PTTs). Experience developing and negotiating business in Japan is required. The ability to speak, read and write fluently in Asian language is preferred. The job is based in Sunnyvale, but requires frequent travel to Japan.

Asia Pacific Sales Executive (WW-40)

We are looking for a diverse, hands-on Sales Executive with approximately seven years of OEM software sales, licensing, and channel development experience. Candidates must have either a technical background or strong software aptitude, outstanding interpersonal, writing and presentation skills and a winning track record developing, managing, negotiating and closing business with major accounts and distribution partners in various technical arenas (operating systems, object-oriented technology, messaging and networking software, GUI applications, and hardware/software system integration issues). Ideally your experience has recently included developing business in Asia Pacific countries with consumer electronics OEMs (PCs, laptops, personal organizers) or distribution partners. Required skills include: experience developing and negotiating business outside the U.S.; proven track record closing large, strategic account sales as well as large distribution agreements; ability to work easily and effectively with a wide variety of people and cultures on a wide variety of business and information management issues; and a BS in Business Administration or equivalent is required. The ability to speak, read and write fluently in an Asian language is a plus. The job is based in Sunnyvale, but requires frequent travel to the Pacific region.
